End of the night shift [graphic] / Allan Rohan Crite. 1942.

Workmen leaving a factory. An inscription on the verso describes the scene: "Dawn, changing of the night shift / at a Defense Plant, Boston." This is probably the defense plant of the U.S. Navy at the Boston Naval Shipyard in Charlestown, Mass. where Crite worked as a technical illustrator from 1941 to 1974.
